Structure

co-Grothendieck abelian

A category is co-Grothendieck abelian if its dual is Grothendieck abelian, i.e. if it is abelian, has products (and is therefore complete), a cogenerator, and cofiltered limits commute with finite colimits. Such a category is also called a co-Grothendieck category. They are not very common; for example, this result implies that a Grothendieck category which is also co-Grothendieck is necessarily trivial.
